This is a conscious decision, as unfortunately it's hard to find palm oil from reliable, sustainable farms and the spread of oil palm plantations are endangering rainforests and the habitats of the animals living there and in fact, they even frequently use children or modern-age slaves on such plantations. The making of a Manna original skincare solution
Manna’s founder, Andrea, believed in the impossible: that one soap could put an end to oily skin and acne. Her tireless testing and experimenting resulted in this tremendously effective handmade product. The powerful recipe of velvety extra virgin olive oil, sesame, coconut and castor oils and shea butter is topped off with a secret ingredient: completely natural medical carbon powder, a super-adsorbent used in Asia for centuries as a cleanser.Our signature facial cleanser has the backing of thousands of happy customers and the results have been confirmed an internationally-recognized independent testing lab.
This laboratory took subjective user feedback from women 20 to 57 years old, and their responses proved what we already knew: Our Facial Cleansing Soap with Activated Charcoal provides safe and effective acne control for the face and entire body, leaving you with incredibly soft, beautifully matte skin.
The activated charcoal draws oil and grime out of your pores, making it easy to wash away and leaving your skin clean, clear and soft.
Instructions:
In the morning and evening, gently wash your face with lukewarm water and Manna Facial Cleansing Soap with Activated Carbon.
The soap may leave some of its charcoal powder color on your towel if you haven’t rinsed it off thoroughly. These marks will come out of the towel in the wash, but it’s important to rinse your face at least twice after washing with any soap.

How to use

Simple: wash your face with lukewarm water and Manna Facial cleansing soap with activated carbon mornings and evenings. Apply and wash with gentle movements.
Due to its charcoal powder content, your Facial cleansing soap with activated carbon may leave its colour on your towel if you haven’t washed it off your skin thoroughly. Those marks will, of course, come out of the textile in the wash. It’s very important to rinse your face at least twice after washing with soap – whether you are using this soap or another Manna product.

It was a great choice even though I was worried about whether it would be a good choice and it proved to be really effective even though I've only been using it for about 1 week!!! This soap is the best!
It's one of my favorite soaps! I use it in the evening for my combined skin and it really does miracles for my spots and blackheads. What I really love about it is that I can use it to wash off my makeup - it's a real "miracle product" that removes makeup without making my facial skin greasy after use. :)
