Use beauty oil to replace your facial cream!
From time to time I keep getting questions about why there aren't any hydrating creams in the range of Manna products. There are multiple reasons why I don't make water-based creams, the most important of which is that plant-based oils are perfectly capable of hydrating and nourishing the skin.
If you use pure, natural oil appropriate to your skin type, there is no need to use any water-based creams containing all sorts of additives.
Not only is wrinkled, cracked or skin that is dry to the touch indicative of dehydration, but also if you feel that your skin is flabby or doughy: in this case, you're faced with deep tissue dehydration. This is most often caused by inappropriate cosmetics, excessive sunbathing or an insufficient supply of liquids. However, chronic dehydration can also be caused by an inappropriate diet, frequent alcohol consumption or hormonal problems. It's important to find out what's causing the symptom in your case. First, you have to eliminate this cause in order to restore your elastic, clean and healthily shining skin.
You might think that the skin's moisture can only be replenished with water through a cream applied on your face or body. This isn't necessarily true.
In order to have perfectly hydrated skin, it's not enough to apply water since it quickly evaporates and thus it's more important to improve the skin's moisture-preserving ability. However, the way this is achieved is of crucial importance.
Store-bought, water-based, usually 70% water content creams achieve this through multiple artificially produced substances. These come in a range of different prices and are contained in the individual products to a varying extent. Cheaper creams often have a long list of ingredients containing preservatives and aromatising chemicals as well as mineral oil products and palm oil.
What can you do for your skin?
Instead of surface treatments which only yield temporary results, it's important to restore your skin's healthy function, which includes improving the skin's ability to store water. Properly hydrated skin can more effectively absorb more nutrients which are vital for its healthy function.Natural soaps appropriate to your skin type can gently cleanse your skin and pure plant-based beauty oils containing entirely skin-friendly active agents are readily available in a natural form to help preserve your skin's youthfulness and flexibility.
If you have exceptionally dry skin, try massaging the oil into slightly moist skin after washing your face. In this way, it can absorb even more moisture into your skin.
