A few small changes can make you healthier!

I'm sure that you're aware of many so-called healthy diets and you've tried some of them yourself. Even those who never considered changing their lifestyle are aware of a wide range of diets including vegetarian, vegan, low-carbohydrate, food separation, raw and paleo diets and their variations. Trust me, it's worth trying them.

The good news for today is that there's no need to turn your life upside down and say goodbye to your favourite dishes for good since even small changes can yield significant results. At least that's the conclusion of the scientific study of over 73 thousand people over a 12-year period.

It turned out that those who eat at least slightly healthier food than average can expect to live a significantly longer and healthier life. According to British scientists, if you swap at least one-fifth of the food you eat with healthier variants (dishes which are low in meat and are less processed, free from artificial aromas, preservatives, additives and refined sugar), you can significantly reduce your chance of premature death by 8-17 percent.

According to their results, the difference can be spectacular even if changing a single dish per week. That surely isn't a great price to pay for a healthier and longer life, is it?

I've been encouraging you to join us and our meat-free Monday initiative. This means eating consciously for a single day of the week, free of meat or even all forms of animal products. This means a lot, not just for your health, but also your wallet and the future of our planet. Due to large-scale husbandry, the production of meat and dairy products use up huge amounts of natural resources and lead to the emission of far too much carbon dioxide gas responsible for the warming of Earth's atmosphere.

Do you agree that the time has come to change and that a summer day is the perfect time to get started?
