The ins and outs of chemical-free hair care

Shampoos, hair conditioners, styling foams and gels are jam-packed with chemicals and substances that will dry out your hair and your scalp. Avoid them if you can.

Hair wash

Healthy Locks is an all-star soap for hair wash: it’s the perfect choice whether it’s for oily, dry or extra thin hair. Three different oils nourish your locks, giving them back their healthy radiance; green clay protects your scalp and hair roots, while Lavender and Tea Tree Essential Oils will see to it that your scalp always stays healthy – and they have a fantastic scent too! Adieu oily locks, goodbye hair loss, bye-bye, split ends! For powerful dandruff action you can use Coco &Tea Tree Oil Soap too – coconut oil is great for skin- and hair care and Tea Tree Oil helps to sort out oily scalp.

Hair conditioner

Mix a cup of yoghurt with mashed bananas, add a tablespoon of olive oil and honey. Leave the mix on your hair for 10 minutes then thoroughly wash it off with clean water.

Hair ends treatment 

Although you may use any exotic Manna butter and beauty oil on your hair tips, I vote for Organic Virgin Coco Oil. If your hair is thin and easily tangled, this method will quickly end your problems.

For emphasizing wavy, curly locks

Mix 2-2 tablespoons of Shea Butter, Organic Coco Oil and aloe vera gel. Use a teaspoon of that mix at any one time instead of styling get or foam to arrange your locks.

You can also make a styling gel out of (vegan) gelatine and essential oil. Mix ¼ cup of (vegan) gelatine with ½ cup of hot purified water and let it cool for 3 hours. Once it has cooled off, give it a twist of scents by adding 4-6 drops of your favourite essential oil and mix it again. Store it in the fridge. It will retain its quality for appox. 2 weeks.
