3+1 tips on getting an easier start to your day

Do you always promise yourself to put an end to your crazy morning rush and stop ruining your day by getting nervous and instead calmly prepare for your day and walk out the front door at your leisure?

It happens to me too, especially at this time of the year, when you have more clothes to put on in the morning and choose the appropriate shoes, bags and scarves.
So what's the solution?

All you need is a little care and planning in the evening to have a smoother start in the morning:
  1. Spend a little time thinking about the things you need to do the next day
What will your day be like tomorrow, who will you meet with? What are the things you have to take care of? Make a list and write a memo on your phone of your most important tasks. Talk over your partner's day and figure out how you can help each other out.
  1. Prepare all the things you'll wear the following day
Your mother was right (again): look at the weather forecast for the following day and yes, pick out your clothes the night before, along with your shoes, bag, hat and scarf – including an umbrella, if necessary.
  1. Unpack your bag
Take care of this the night before - trust me, it can do wonders if your bag isn't filled with all sorts of useless things.

+1. Go to bed early

You're sure to have a great start to the day if you don't get stuck in front of the screen until late at night. Try reading before falling asleep to have more peaceful dreams.
You can save a lot of time with this little trick and believe me, you'll have an entirely different experience if you don't leave the house in the morning in a rush, still half asleep and irritated.

If you still don't have enough time to get prepared, the only thing you can do is to set your alarm earlier.
