5+1 things that make you happier
Do you often get out of the wrong side of the bed and frequently feel like every day is a Monday? You can blame your foul mood on stress, spring fatigue, a lack of vitamins or all the bad things happening to you and around you, but I want you to know that the choice is yours.
Your basic mood greatly depends on you.
I'm sure you know quite a few people who are always kind and seem to have a smile on their face and seem to brush off minor annoyances which can ruin your whole day. It's not just that they're lucky to be born this way or that that their positive view on life makes them happier than others. According to psychologists, cheerful people do quite a lot to feel good and they do not let anything ruin their good mood.
So what's their secret?
First of all, the most important thing is that they pay attention to themselves, they know what they need and are capable of putting their own needs ahead of their tasks and aren't worn out by the storm of expectations and daily tasks they're faced with. - They devote time to themselves
- They regularly exercise
- They get enough sleep
- They don't get upset over trifle matters
- They pay attention to their surroundings
+1 They aren't afraid to experience their emotions
The secret to level-headedness isn't to swallow your offenses, anger and rage. If you feel hurt, helpless or mad, try finding a way to release these feelings in the fastest and most effective way. Try discussing it with someone, go out cycling or for a walk or run, watch a good film or an episode of your favourite series or try treating yourself to some little reward like a pleasant bath, lift weights or take up a martial arts course. All that counts is that you free yourself of your annoying burden as soon as possible.
