I have to tell you I simply adore the fact that this curious-looking, yet highly versatile tuber is now available practically everywhere. It originates from the Orient and Marco Polo brought news of it from India and Southeast Asia all the way to Europe.

Its beneficial effect has been known for thousands of years and is used as a spice in countless different forms due to its refreshing, characteristic aroma. They use it to make (non-alcoholic) ginger beer and liquor, and it is commonly used in sweet pastries and biscuits yet it's great in soups and meat dishes as well.

Due to its strong aromatic essential oil, dried, ground ginger is a great cosmetic material and we use it in two different Manna soaps.

We added a hint of ginger to the Your Manna 2017 and Ginger Goat Milk soaps, lending its charming fragrance and gently massing your skin with its fine specks.
