Look out for these logos when purchasing cosmetics!

Are you flooded with millions of advertising slogans and hundreds of logos on products, making it hard to decide which ones to believe and which represent real value?

Then I have some good news: if you're looking for 100% natural cosmetic products, all you need to look for are the following four markings!

Cruelty Free

I know you have a lot of questions related to this matter. Can a cosmetic product be considered cruelty-free if the final products weren't tested on animals, but the ingredients were? Or can Cruelty Free be a brand if it doesn't support animal testing, but its suppliers do?

A Cruelty-free approach is considered a fundamental of production by now, but it's not enough for a firm to simply claim that it uses cruelty-free production methods. Keep in mind that you can only be 100% sure that no animals were harmed during the production of your favourite cosmetics if the Cruelty Free logo is on the product's packaging.

The leaping bunny logo is found on all Mannas, which is our way of assuring you that all the Mannas you purchase from us help protect the environment and contribute to the well-being of animals! I'm proud that Manna is the first Hungarian firm behind an animal testing-free cosmetics brand certified by Cruelty Free International and BUAV!

Palmoil Free

Products containing palm oil (sodium palmate) have a truly destructive effect on nature. Their procurement entails immeasurable environmental damage and the destruction of the habitats of primates. That is precisely why none of our Mannas contain palm oil, as we feel the destruction and suffering caused by the production of this ingredient is disproportionate and unnecessary.

BDIH

I remember it was two years ago, on our fifth anniversary, when we were notified that we obtained he COSMOS Natural and COSMOS Organic certifications of the most prestigious European natural cosmetics organization, BDIH.

This confirmed to me that Mannas are made from ingredients procured from verifiable, reliable sources with gentle procedures and without synthetic fragrances, colorings and petroleum products.

The inspectors examine everything. From the quality of the water used to make Mannas, they inspect whether the raw materials were truly sourced from organic farms and whether they are cruelty-free ingredients and they even inspect the materials used for packaging.

We now have 48 Manna products which can boast of this certification, including the Active Charcoal Olive Oil soap, which earned the COSMOS Natural, as well as the vegan certification.

Vegan Society

Our vegan Mannas allow you to show that you use quality, ethical skincare products which reduce your ecological footprint and help protect both animals and the planet.

The above-listed logos mean a lot to us and we're proud of them, because they prove that the Mannas stand up to the strictest criteria and even exceed them in some cases. When you see these logos on the packaging, keep in mind that not only do they inspect us, but our suppliers as well, so you can be sure that you're getting the best quality as well as giving yourself and the environment the very best you can.
